University education in Administrative and European Law Â at the UniversitĂ degli Studi di Torino, where she earned a law degree in 2002, and at some foreign universities (University of Trier, Germany, Session 2000 â€“ 2001, within the Erasmus Project; Magdelene College of Oxford, July 2002, within the Summer School of University of San Diego, California).
She is educated in environmental law at the University of Trier, in the context of the academic year 2000-2001 and, as part of an internship (January-April 2001), at the EuropĂ¤ische Rechtsakademie in Trier (Germany). Later in Italy, she achieved a Master's degree in Environmental Law at UniversitĂ Statale of Milan (Session 2002-2003), deepening the environmental law at EU and national level.
In the professional practice she focuses on administrative law and has extensive experience in the following areas:
-tenders and public works, including enforcing contracts and related disputes, with reference to litigation between private and public sectors (i.e. exclusion cases, sanctions by the Authority for the Supervision of Public Contracts for works, services and supplies, assignment of the company)
-town planning and construction (with reference to general urban planning and implementation, residential public building, housing building permits, certifications of activity (SCIA), concession fees, expropriations, administrative penalties, infringements)
-environment, with reference to environmental impact assessment and strategic environmental assessment, land and water conservation, rules on discharges, waste management
-actions of Banca dâ€™Italia and independent authoritiesÂ (ANAC, AGCM, AEEG...)
- pharmacies, with reference also to recent deregulation measures (D.L. 1/ 2012, art.11)
-authorization and accreditation of social activities and health care
-commerce, with reference to authorizations to shopping malls, penalties, opening hours
-accounting liability and administrative liability of officers of state, within the jurisdiction of the Corte dei Conti
-public water supply, within the jurisdiction of the Tribunale delle acque pubbliche.
She pays particular attention to any constitutional issues, EU law, law of the European Convention on Human Rights.
